Then, put together a short list of ingredients and create some dynamite baby back ribs for you and the whole family. Recipe makes enough for 2 racks of ribs.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon tabasco
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup red or white wine (optional)
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons black pepper
- 5 cloves garlic (or 2 tablespoons minced garlic (from jar))
- 2-3 racks baby back ribs
- Barbecue sauce
Directions:
Mix together the soy sauce, brown sugar, onion powder, tabasco, olive oil, wine, wine vinegar, black pepper, and garlic and stir until frothy.
Now prepare your ribs by peeling the membrane off the shiny side of the rib back. Marinade the ribs for NO LONGER than 4 hours. Turn racks occasionally.
After they’ve marinated, smoke them at about 165º for 4 to 6 hours, turning racks occasionally.
Turn the temperature up to 225º and finish for another 2-4 hours until you are happy with the texture.
Finally, baste with your favorite barbecue sauce during the last hour of cooking.
