Coastal Journal - 4H, FFA & Family
May 15, 2016It takes a community
For Maddie Neuschwander and her family, 4H and FFA are a natural part of their life. The values and lessons learned from raising animals or making presentations are just a small part of the positive impact these organizations have on their life. It's all about community. Whether it's raising a steer for market or tending to a hedgehog for the county fair, there's a togetherness that naturally happens when you're working toward a goal.
Organizations like 4H and FFA are a place for kids to learn responsibility, test their boundaries and instill a confidence that will carry them through life.
Coastal has long been a sponsor of 4H and FFA because we believe in the values and education that comes from working toward the goals these kinds of organizations help set for kids and their families.
Over the next few months we'll be highlighting some of the families that dedicate themselves to the hard work of introducing the value of our agricultural heritage to the next generation. We're proud to be a part of the community.
